We are excited to share insights from our recent Wed(NSI)days session on Crosswell LF-DAS for Quantitative Analysis and Hydraulic Fracturing Diagnostics.
This presentation focused on our novel methodology to quantify fracture geometry using LF-DAS data from the Hydraulic Fracturing Test Site 2 (HFTS-2). Key metrics such as fracture unevenness and density were introduced to evaluate completion design efficiency across over 100 hydraulic fracturing stages.
This work not only demonstrates the potential of LF-DAS for quantitative analysis and interpretation but also advances the field by expanding its role beyond traditional qualitative assessments, establishing it as a more comprehensive tool for hydraulic fracturing diagnostics.
